McQuay Names Michael Schwartz CEO

 

MINNEAPOLIS – September 12, 2011 –McQuay today announced that Michael Schwartz has been named chief executive officer (CEO) of McQuay Americas. The announcement furthers the company’s vision to be clearly the global leader in commercial HVAC systems by providing customers with cutting-edge technologies and unmatched energy efficiencies. 

Schwartz was most recently president and CEO of RathGibson LLC, a privately held manufacturer of precision-engineered industrial tubing in Illinois. He will begin the new role within McQuay immediately. Schwartz has worked in the HVAC industry for more than two decades including fifteen years at Lennox. While at Lennox, Schwartz held a number of key leadership roles. He held the position of president and chief operating officer for three of Lennox’s businesses including – Armstrong Air Conditioning business, N.A. Distributed Products Group, as well as the Heatcraft worldwide refrigeration business. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
